God is a highly evolved robot

"Then I found this and though... perfect... eventually we'll all be Cyborgs that cannot die..."

Why do I care!!!?

Did you know that there was an ancient computation machine made completely of barely, hay, bees, and a rock? Not really. But there are some really cool things that built up to creating a computer. Like, ethnic children in the Dell lab that brought me this lovely machine - by the way, Santa's elves could learn a thing or two from those little workers.

Somebody tell me why my Shelfari Widget Sucks!!!

This post will definitely get bigger... I followed the steps (3 times) and created a nice bookshelf to add to my blog... This was followed by creating just a list for my blog... I've moved and replaced the widget(s) but I can't seem to get anything to work... What's the deal?

Furthermore, I want to add a list of movies I love - like through netflix... why is that so hard to find? You think it would be a staple widget by now... and How about a music player that plays my favorite music? like from pandora...

Why I hate Digital Civilization

I wish I were a more reasonable person... I think social networking is a great idea - I really do... I'm like the reverse of Mark Twain when he said, “It's easy to quit smoking. I've done it hundreds of times.” Digital connection is awesome and easy. I've started it hundreds of times... but I can never keep up!

Three LONG reasons why I hate digital civilization. (reader beware!)

A brave new frontier... ?

I'm no fan of Porter Rockwell. Mormon's seem to love him because he is one piece of excitement in the LDS history. Now, I don't mind Porter, I just don't see why he's more exciting than say Billy the Kid? But I have wanted to find out about the hype... And discussing how we as a nation moved into the "wiki wiki wild... wiki wiki wild wild west..." (no, thank you, Fresh Prince)

suggested book club readings

Okay... I'm not sure about this... I think this is going to spark a mini-film blerb every little while... That's what I do. Maybe I'm too stupid to read...

Ah, Romance - Burn that Mother Down!!!

Someone has to teach me how to attach music to my posts so I can unveil my mind further to those who read this stuff... As of the last Guh-gillion posts I think I've had 2 or three people pop on to read them. That may be because I write them so thoroughly that no one needs add to nor take away from this book.

Ron comes from an age of Romance when the news was "were it was at" and people moved slowly to the beauty around them. Now with our fast paced hip-hop world and high speed internet there is no time to reflect on things from before.

Kill Your TV - save your soul

What happened to VR? This makes my interaction with the internet look really boring...

So Neo... I mean, Keanu... I mean, Johnny saves the world from the oppressive destruction of humanity created by capitalism married with technology... Wait, that is Neo? no... He's fighting robots... no that's Keanu... No, Keanu is a robot... (check him out in Much Ado About Nothing or Brahm Stoker's Dracula... or don't.)

At any cost, the advancement of technology has often pushed man to question his connection to humanity, civility, to spirituality. There is a general sense of loss of that which is human, right, or righteous. And they aren't wrong.
